ENGL 1000: Fairy Tale Research Assignment: Home

Library Search to Find Books

Use the Library's Advanced Search to find fairy tales in the WMU collection.

If you already know the title or author, use the pull-down arrow to select Title or Author.

When looking for books by topic, enter your keyword(s) into the search boxes.  If you are only looking for children's books, look for the LOCATION option on the left side of the results page; click the "more options" and then limit your search to the Children's Collection, Easy and Beginning Readers for picture books, or Children's Collection, Fiction and Non-Fiction, for novels and non-fiction books.

SEARCH TIP:  If you are using a phrase in your search, be sure and put it in quotation marks, e.g., "african americans"
