This book is the "gold standard" for studying and identifying American buildings.

New York City Cultural Icon

Completed in 1931, the Art Deco styled Empire State Building, located at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street, was the tallest building in the world from 1931 until 1972.  It has been featured in countless films, advertising, commercials, and photographs throughout its existence.
