HIST 3150: Popular Art and Architecture in America

Quick Guide to Chicago Style

To get started, you may want to use this Quick Guide put out by the University of Chicago.

Chicago Manual of Style

Your instructor, Professor Linda Borish, requires that you use the Chicago Manual of Style to format the citations in your paper.  Click on the link below to get to the online version.  A print copy is also available behind the Central Reference Desk on the first floor of Waldo Library.

Let OWL Help You

The Writing Lab at Purdue University does a superb job of helping to guide students in the use of the writing style guides.  Be sure and visit their site once you have put your own citations into the proper format to see check your work.
