Answers to your questions about Course Reserves:
Why? Instructors often put books and other reading materials in Course Reserves so everyone in a class can access them.
What? Course Reserves includes (a) a webpage on the Libraries website where you can view a list of books on reserve and (b) shelves behind Waldo Library's Circulation Desk where the physical books are stored.
How? The first time you access the Course Reserves webpage, you need to sign in and then search for and add the your course to your account.
Where? Use this link to get to the website: WMU Libraries Course Reserves. The actual books are shelved behind the Circulation Desk, located in the main entrance of Waldo Library, and this is where you can check them out in order to use them.
Once you have a list of course reserve materials you want to use, you will need to:
The staff member will then check out the book to you. You need to return the book to the Access Services Desk within 2 hours of checking it out by giving them back to a staffer behind the Access Services Desk or putting them in the book return slot in the wall just to the right of the Access Services Desk (red arrow).
