  • AAUW Fellowships & Awards AAUW helps women from around the world break through barriers and pursue their dreams of obtaining graduate degrees or making an impact in their communities.
  • Academic Fundraising Web Resources Long list of Web resources compiled by Michigan State for grants, foundations, fundraising, and proposal writing from an academic point of view.
  • Bread for the Journey  For twenty years, Bread for the Journey’s model of grassroots micro-granting has helped to make communities more just, vital, and whole. Bread for the Jouney provides one-time only seed grants to people who have a dream and believe that what they are doing is an important offering or service to the community.

  • Chronicle of Philanthropy A newspaper for charity leaders, fund raisers, grant makers, and nonprofit organizations. You must subscribe to get to the premium content.
  • The Grantsmanship Center- Search for local and federal funding opportunities.

  • Foundation Center The Center maintains a comprehensive database on U.S. and, increasingly, global grantmakers and their grants. Provides information for grantseekers and grantmakers. You need to create a free trial account.  We do have access to companion Foundation Directory print version in Waldo Library.

  • Institute of Museum and Library Services An independent federal grant-making agency dedicated to creating and sustaining a nation of learners by helping libraries & museums.

 Community of Science Offers several databases for approximately 25,000 private and federal funding sources. Grants in the non-science areas are included. You need to create a free account in order to start searching with a free 30 day trial.
