Who is the "Father of History?"

Herodotus, 5th century B C, considered to be the Father of HIstory

Herodotus, 5th century BC, is often called the "Father of History" since he was the first to collect his data systematically, evaluate its accuracy, and arrange the information in a logical narrative.  He is best known for his work on the Persian Wars.
