Style Manuals to Use in Citing Your Sources

Your instructor requires the use of the Chicago Manual of Style when citing your sources.  However, you may also use Kate Turabian's A Manual for Writers of Research  Papers, Theses and Dissertations, which is a simplified version of the Chicago Manual.

Citing Court Cases and Statutes

The Bluebook:  A Uniform System of Citation is the standard for citing legal information correctly.  You can find a print copy behind the Central Reference Desk under the call number  KF 245 .B58 (Ref).
