WorldCat – International Catalog Pros  Most comprehensive Quickly identify what we do and do not own. Links effortlessly with ILL.  Cons  Need to rely on interlibrary loan to get materials. MelCat – Michigan-wide Catalog  Pros  Identifies what is in the state, very fast for ILL Search area libraries, academic and public Can drive to access materials Cons  Does not search UoM. Need to rely on ILL to get materials

Borrowing 

  • You will always need this when visiting the Libraries; to check out materials, print, etc..
  • Initial borrowing period is for the entire current
  • Can renew online
Recommend New Items
  • Use the forms linked above to recommend items for purchase. 

Course Reserves

  • Instructors and students sign in to the course reserves system with their Bronco NetID username and Bronco NetID password

Interlibrary Loan 

  • Library Search, ​MeLCat, and WorldCat have automated ILL tools to submit request for  books, chapters, and articles. Most databases do as well.
