Using Mendeley

This guide provides instruction and resources for using the Mendeley bibliographic citation management software to keep track of your citations, create bibliographies and collaborate with other researchers.

Mendeley - Groups

There are three types of groups in Mendeley. These are as follows:

Private - can share references and full-text files. Only group members can see the group.

Invite only - can share references only. The public can only follow the group. This is good for sharing references or reading lists with colleagues or students.

Open - can share references only. The publc can become a member or follow the group. This option is useful for crowd sourcing reading lists.

Public Groups

Join one of over 100,000 public groups to discuss the latest research in your field, stir debate, add content and promote your own work. Or even create your own public group. Join the Mendeley @ WMU group to access support resources.
