My name is Kate Langan, creator of this guide. I have highlighted relevant scholarly resources as a way to highlight scholarly resources relating to Native and Indigenous studies. I would like to acknowledge that as a cisgender white woman, I benefit from white supremacist systems and types of oppression highlighted in resources in this guide. I also recognize that there are hidden biases that stem from my privilege in the resources I select. I welcome feedback and suggestions for this and all guides, particularly from the perspectives and experiences of Black, Indigenous, and non-Black People of Color (BIPOC) members of the WMU community.
