University Libraries assists the campus community at all stages of the data lifecycle. From creating project workflows and managing data to finding secondary data and preparing data for sharing, we're here to help.
Finding Data
Secondary data, data collected by someone else or used for a different purpose than originally intended, can be found in a variety of places. Not sure where to look? Contact us for help finding the right data for your project needs.
Data Consultation
Whether you are just starting your project or nearing the end, we'll meet you wherever you are and guide you through the next stage of your project. Schedule a consultation with our data librarian for help with determining data need, as well as finding, organizing, and preserving research data.
Looking to deposit your research data to meet funder or journal requirements? We can help you decide on a repository and look over your submission files.
Data Management Plans (DMPs)
Many funders require a DMP to be submitted with research proposals. We help identify funder specific DMP requirements, help assess research project data management needs, and review draft DMPs. Request for reviews can be submitted through webform or via email.
Data Education
We can provide data education workshops on variety of topics in different modalities. Data education workshops can be attended synchronously, viewed asynchronously as recording, or requested on-demand.
