Children's books about science

Children's science books are shelved using Dewey Decimal numbers in the 500's and 600's in the Children's Literature section on the 2nd floor.

Can't come to the library? Need more recent books?

We are currently unable to prioritize updating our children's and K-12 textbook collections, or purchase online versions. If you are not in Kalamazoo, or if you need to see more recent examples of textbooks, you have several options:

• contact nearby public libraries, schools, and teaching colleges to see the materials currently being used in your community
• if you have a particular book or books in mind, you may be able to receive them through Interlibrary Loan
