This visual account of the Civil War, written by Francis Trevelyan Miller and published in 1912, has been completely digitized by Google Books.  It is an amazing source for scholars interested in the Civil War.  Click on the book jacket to see the content.  The book focuses on prisoners of war and hospital and medical services, for both the Union and the Confederacy.
