A collection of streaming videos of varying length (5-45 minutes long) covering major mathematics topic areas including calculus, geometry, basic mathematics concepts and applied mathematics. These can be linked to or embedded within your course websites and Elearning pages.
Indexes articles from approximately 1,800 journals, books, and conference proceedings in the areas of biology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, operations research, physics, and other fields that contain mathematical or statistical applications.
Developed and deployed by the Cornell University Library and jointly managed by Cornell and the Duke University Press, Project Euclid provides access to high-quality, peer-reviewed journals, monographs, and conference proceedings in the field of theoretical and applied mathematics and statistics.
Access to full-text journals of the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics in industrial and applied mathematics and scientific computing. Full text coverage is from 1997 to the present, although using the Locus Home (http://locus.siam.org/), you can browse the tables of contents and read the abstracts from articles in SIAM journals all the way back to 1952 in many cases.
Search an index of over 160 "core journals" in statistics, in most cases from 1975 to current, and pre-1975 coverage for some. The database also indexes selected articles with statistical content since 1975 from about 1200 additional journals and about 11,000 books in statistics published since 1975.
Note:Access to the Current Index to Statistics (CIS) became open to the public effective January 1, 2017. CIS will continue to auto-update bibliographical data from larger publishers, but any data that was previously manually entered will not be updated. Subscription fees are no longer being charged for any user. We will no longer provide usage statistics. CIS will remain open until December 31, 2019 and at that time will be shut down.
Note: the database works best with Chrome and IE Also, the link to the new experimental query interface at http://cis.statbib.org does not work.
Database for scientific research that contains the citations and abstracts of more than 1,800 Elsevier journals in the life, physical, medical, technical, and social sciences as well as selected full text articles. Science Direct can be searched as a database or browsed by individual title. Coverage varies.
Indexes scholarly literature in the natural and social sciences. Use this to get extensive inter-disciplinary access to journal articles and also to find out which articles are being cited by other scholars . Coverage from 1995. NOTE: users viewing this database through Internet Explorer 11 may experience a loss of functionality. It is recommended that you use a different browser.
This index includes several research and citation databases. The Core Collection contains seven major databases: (1) Science Citation Index Expanded (1900-present), (2) Social Sciences Citation Index (1900-present), and (3) Arts & Humanities Citation Index (1975-present), (4) Conference Proceedings Citation Index (1994-present), (5) Book Citation Index (2005-present), (6) Current Chemical Reactions (1994-present), and (7) Index Chemicus (1994-present) . Cited Reference Search allows users to search for articles that cite a particular author or work. Additional databases can also be accessed through the Web of Science platform, including: BIOSIS Citation Index, BIOSIS Previews, Current Contents Direct, Data Citation Index, Derwent Innovations Index, INSPEC, MEDLINE, and Zoological Record. Tutorial Library users should use the Chrome browser for full functionality of this database.
